The Manpower Employment Outlook Survey (MEOS) is conducted quarterly to measure employers' intentions to increase or decrease the number of employees in their workforce during the next quarter. The MEOS has been running for more than 48 years, and is one of the most trusted surveys of employment activity in the world. The survey derives all of its information from a single question, based on interviews with over 61,000 public and private companies across 39 countries and territories.

In Canada, MEOS is conducted with over 1,900 public and private companies. MEOS is Manpower's most powerful PR tool, generating more than 2,000 news stories across a variety of media every quarter.
